I think awareness about compassion is great....but the idea that there is compassion in hell is false. A Jehovah's Witness will tell you that God doesn't send people to hell or that hell is not eternal. They are correct that God doesn't sent us there, we make the choice where we will spend eternity ourselves. He sacrificed his only Son so that we would have the opportunity to live eternally with Him by simply believing. Compassion in hell here comes from a belief that is not Christian. This campaign does nothing more than further confuse a people who already do not know what they believe.

The Apostle Paul might agree,he writes in Romans: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." That sounds like compassion to me...

Regardless of whether our personal faiths allow us to believe in this message literally, there should not be such condemnation of a message which is simply: have compassion for others always.

Thank you.

It seems compassion is the greatest challenge of all Christian qualities. To wish punishment or revenge is so easy. Most wish for revenge when wrong is seen. Justice is given by those of a civilized society. Justice is taught. Compassion is rare because one must love the wrong doer ever if the wrong is imcomprehensible.

Britney Ray may I repose you by saying to look at the definition of compassion. It seems as though by common understanding of heaven there would be no need for compassion: if there is no suffering, there is no sympathy. And this type project seems to be the essential compassion for one another Jesus wished to express and teach. The only distinguishing characteristic between such a project and Christianity, is the symbols used, the meaning is the same, love each other. Compassion recognizes the undesirable feeling, and also involves the desire to alleviate the negative force. The "no" to this type project seems to also be the "no" to Jesus: Jesus seemed to say this world IS hell, this is the same world that killed their Lord, that men should love each other not hate each other. Britney, if a picture is able to "deceive" a person, Christianity must not be that strong... The irony to me is that the very people who claim to be the strongest supporters of Jesus, are also the very people who can recognize and discriminate against those who do not have the exact thoughts as they do. Christianity teaches that these same people who are unable to accept a view other than theirs, are also the one's who killed Jesus: Jesus challenged the norms of his society, challenged religious practices and was ultimately killed for his non-conformity. What is important: the underlying meaning Jesus wished to express, or the particular symbols he used? It seems to be that the only reason for such a project to be offensive and seen as dangerous is that hell is used as a fear mechanism for christianity, which it does not need to be: true christianity, or true anything, seems to me to need to be accepted as true because of its own validity not the fear of the opposite. True believe must be validated in itself, not by being the better of two solutions.

Please be in prayer that people will not be deceived by this. The idea that there is compassion in Hell is ridiculous and completely false. Please know that there will be no compassion in Hell. Don't be misled into believing that for one second. You've already been shown more compassion than you can ever fully realize because Jesus died for your sins so that you could come to know Him and have a personal relationship with Him and live with Him forever in a place called Heaven. All you have to do is have faith in Him and accept the gift He offered. Giving your life for someone because you love them and don't want them to have to suffer, paying a debt that they could never pay-now that's true compassion. That's exactly what He did for us. And yet some still reject Him. Don't buy into this. Satan never died for you. Satan hates you. No, there is no compassion in Hell. Just lost people full of regret.

I think that the freudian slip on the 'about' page says it all. Down at the end the last thing it says is "Please feel" and that is what this is all about, becoming conscious to the world around us.
